n tdae in socio i learnt the thomas theorem: "if ppl define situations as real...they R real in their consequences"
this theorem is useful for juan to understand why she is so hum ji after watching horror movies( unfortunately i did not learn e formulae to become less humji).

The lecturer was illustrating abt how he was taught wad is pontianak by his malay teacher n when he was ALONE on guard duty or patrolling during his armydays, he suddenly remb abt e pontianak thingy n hence became scared...at tt pt,he defined the pontianak;a fictional(?) or rather paranomal char as smthg tt exist in reality which resulted in him becoming fearful.

haha tt is the only thing i rembed from the 2 hrs lecture..
