I'm now totally in love with michelle paver's book! (dun confuse with mian xian) Her Chronicles of ancient darkness speak of a world so unlike ours . They live the basic way of life back den. Predator and prey. Hunter-gatherers lived in small clan and move around alot. The people are suberb survivors. They knew all about the animals, trees plants and rocks of the forest. When they wanted something they knew where to find it, or how to make it. Sound like such a DIY world.

The soul of the book is Torak a forest boy who's a wolf clan. And he can talk to wolf!!! how amazing is that??? They believe in 3 types of soul.there is the world soul(only disappear when eu die) the clan soul (loyalty to the people) and name soul (yourself). Im re-reading the series tt's y im gushing so much. COS I LOVE Wolf. (wolf is a name not the animal, notice the capital letter?)

the 3 books are: Wolf brother, spirit walker and soul eater.

the story gets better which each book.
