After reading finish spirit walker, i thot i nv pick up another book till soul eater comes out. But den there are always exceptional cases. And moreover, soul eater is really taking its time to b shipped here, i combed kino and borders almost every wk for it.

But now! im in love once again! to Artemis Fowl series.hahas! dis weird 13yr old kid is such a genius. And like most genius they have high IQ but no pr skill. His sacarsm is really worth picking up! Some instances (extracted from 'the eternity code') :

Waiter: Hello there, young man. Would you like to see the children's menu?
Artemis ( A vein pulsed in his temple) : No, mademoiselle, I would not like to see the children's menu. I have no doubt the children's menu itself tastes better than the meals on it. I would like to order a la carte. Or don't you serve fish to minors?

......(many scenes unfolds)

Waiter: And to drink?
Artemis: Spring water. Irish, if you have it. And no ice, please, as your ice is no doubt made from tap water, which rather defeats the purpose of spring water

Such cockiness emitting out from a 13yr old kid is really entertaining. Kinda pity the poor waiter.

And you get to learn strange facts from the book too. Again another instance:

Pex: Did you know that after a billon years dinosaur dung turns into diamonds?
Boss: No i didn't know that, Pex. Maybe i should pay your wages in dung

haha.. ppl who have yet to read the series should check it out!
